THE GIRLS GET EQUAL (GGE)- ZOTHEKA PROJECT

This is a project  that aims at reducing Child Early and Forced Marriages (CEFM) through addressing discriminatory social norms, using two-pronged approach of working with gate keepers to change discriminatory social norms and empowering Children Adolescents and Youth (CAY’s) to be change agents towards gender equality and child rights. Furthermore, the project addresses sexual violence and ensures that victims have access to justice and psychosocial support. NfYD is implementing GGE in Lilongwe, Mulanje and Phalombe districts with support from NORAD through Plan International.
